Anna Ekpenyong awarded Living Legend Award on Sat, Oct 1st!

On October 1st, our very own Anna Ekpenyong was awarded the Living Legend Award recognizing her many years of commitment and hard work in the NAACP. Anna received the award during the dinner at the New England Area Conference annual meeting in Bedford, MA.

When Anna commits her energy to an NAACP project, it gets instant credibility. How can anyone look Anna Ekpenyong in the eye when she asks for a little of your time, a little of your commitment, or a little of your money to support civil rights, and say no? You cannot, knowing that she personally on a weekly, monthly, and yearly basis gives so much of herself. It is because she always gives, never getting or expecting anything in return, other than the satisfaction of knowing she is working to maintain the NAACP locally that the award of Living Legend is so appropriate.
